Abby Rhine

Abby is an MA Candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Crown College, with coursework and training emphasized in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her practice is driven by a deep commitment to advocating for vulnerable and marginalized populations. Having worked in art and music, Abby brings a creative and compassionate approach to counseling. She centers her practice on affirmative and person-centered therapy, using a systemic lens to understand trauma and the impact of systemic oppression. Abby is FEMA certified in crisis management and has completed a Psychological First Aid course issued by Johns Hopkins. She is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Abby believes that all people are worthy of love and respect. She prioritizes human connection over demands for productivity or systemic conformity, viewing therapy as a
collaborative space for curiosity and discovery. Abby advocates that clients deserve to be seen and supported through both self-acceptance and, if desired, skill-building found in evidence-based models like TF-CBT.

Her practice is deeply influenced by respect for the mind-body connection, and her background in art reinforces her commitment to facilitating hope and imagination. Ultimately, Abby approaches therapy not as a checklist item, but as an individualized space dedicated to you and your healing.
