Jacqueline obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Stockton University in 2013 and immediately began working as a direct support counselor in group homes and vocational programs for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She later transitioned to working in assisted living and memory care communities serving primarily as Recreation and Volunteer Director. After, she pivoted towards short-term rehabilitation care and fulfilled a similar role helping to design enrichment programs for patients in the community. In 2021 Jacqueline earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Rutgers University and completed two year-long internships at an outpatient therapy program and a substance use treatment program where she was hired as a full-time primary therapist. She joined Willow Wellness in March of 2021 and currently partner with Rutgers University as a Practicum Liaison and Off-site MSW Practicum Supervisor.

Jacquline remains invested in further developing her knowledge and treatment of anxiety and complex trauma. As a social worker, she has been formally trained to consider the systems in place that affect an individual and use this framework to better understand how her clients ended up in the seat across from her. Along with a systems-based approach, she tends to apply psychodynamic and attachment-based theories to her work in order to appreciate the individual as she considers the greater environmental impacts on mental and emotional well-being.
Jacquline is interested in learning more about internal family systems (IFS) and applying interventions rooted in this model, as she believes we are constructed of many “parts” of self that have an origin story and a unique need for healing and attention.
