Karen Draper graduated from Villanova University in 1997 with a Masters of Science in Counseling. She has worked in the community mental health system for over 20 years in many different settings, which includes behavioral health for children between the ages of 3-21, Director of a Therapeutic Camp for children between the ages of 6 and 13 years, Director of a program that provided services to children with autism as well as overseeing the clinicians working directly with children with disabilities. Karen has maintained a private practice for over 15 years and has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in an outpatient setting. She recently opened a group practice in order to expand these services throughout the South Jersey area.

Karen is licensed by both states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), which is required to supervise other masters-level clinicians seeking supervision hours in order to obtain their state license in the field of counseling.
Karen is skilled in the following evidenced-based practices: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eco-Systemic Family Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is extremely skilled in working children, adolescents, and adults who experience anxiety and depression, and she works well with family systemic dynamics.
